We have a vacancy to be filled in our temple in Swansea, UK, and are inviting applications to fill this role. Please note this role is only available as service - we cannot give any wage for this position.

The details of the position are as follows:

Title : Pujari for Their Lordships Sri Sri Panca-tattva
Role Description : Perform worship to our temple deities. This will involve 3 main aratikas per day plus cooking for offerings to Deities etc. You will also be expected to participate in temple programs.
Pay : This role is only available on a voluntary basis. There will be no pay but the devotee will be able to stay at the temple asrama and all prasadam and clothing will be provided.
Qualifications : the devotee must be strictly following all the regulative principles. They must have been a fully practising member of ISKCON for 3 years and served at an ISKCON project for at least 1 year. They must have experience of deity worship in ISKCON and have brahminical initiation. The
applicant must have a basic level of spoken English.
Duration : the position is full-time for the foreseeable future and we require a commitment of at least 12 months to begin with, but ideally as a long term (3 years +) role.
Notes : As the asrama is the only accommodation we have available, and that there will be no pay, only those applicants who will come alone can be considered (i.e. you cannot bring a spouse). Also as the devotee will be housed in the asrama they will be expected to attend the full morning program starting with Mangala Arati at 4.30am.
