Dear Maharajas and Prabhus,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
I would like to write a few words in praise of Suhotra Prabhu. He was one of the most brilliant devotee I happened to meet in my life, with such an acute and penetrating intelligence that could leave you speechless.
Once he told me how, at the age of ten, he had to leave Europe where his father had been stationed by the USA Army, and go to the States with his family, and how terrible an impact this had been on his life; this eventually helped him to become a devotee. He was actually a very very soft hearted person.
We became Co-GBCs for the Benelux in the early nineties and his powerful preaching helped immensely that agonizing Yatra to get back on its feet; much of what the Benelux is today is due to Suhotra Prabhu's contribution.
Leaving one's body in Mayapur Dhama with the Japa-mala in one's hands is no ordinary thing; Nityananda Prabhu can cancel in a sincere devotee's heart the reactions of more sinful activities that he can commit: I am confident that Suhotra Prabhu has gained His Mercy.
Hoping this meets you in best health, I remain
Your humble servant,
Madhusevita das
