*Sabbatical 2011*
After completing the bhakta course or similar training programme, sabbatical is an introduction to the ideal practice of KC, with the focus of internal development and application.
This will be two part programme with a focus on four areas:
Sanga (Association): Devotees need to experience deep relationships that everyone is yearning for, through selfless service towards each other with Krishna in the centre.
Sastra (Scripture): All the acharyas taught us that the greatest need for today is people who can live by the pure teachings of Krishna Consciousness.
Sadacara (Character): Philosophy without good character is useless.
Skills: Practical Skills are that central to vaisnava culture and lifestyle.

Sabbatical Part 1 / Brahmachari Training
This is a six month residential course at Bhaktivedanta Manor starting on the 24th January 2011 and completing on the 31st July 2011.
Major highlights include:
Learning to play musical instruments
Learning to cook
Bhakti shastri
Learning and reciting key verses
Assortment of self development and skills sessions
Book distribution
Harinam
Participating in upcoming festivals
Annual European brahmacari convention
Travelling and preaching in various parts of UK and Europe
Schedule will be facilitated by resident brahmacharis, deciples of Srila Prabhupada and various Sannyasis.
To commend success in completing the course, students will be awarded Bhakti Shastri / Sabbatical Course certificate.
Please note there are limited places on this course and there is an application form (attached) to be completed and sent back by 17th January 2011.
Sabbatical Part 2 / India
This is a three month residential course starting on 6th September 2011 and completing on the 22cd December 2011.
There will be an introductory week at Bhaktivedanta Manor then travel to India making your base at Radhagopinath Temple (Chowpatty), flagship centre for training and education in bhakti-yoga, devotees benefit from the wonderful association and guidance of senior practitioners from all walks of life.
Major highlights include:
Travelling and preaching in various parts of India
Bhagavad Gita study
Learning and reciting key verses
Book distribution
Participating in upcoming festivals
Accompanying HH Radhanath Maharaj on Yatra
Visiting holy Dhams during the month of Kartik (Vrindavan, Mayapur and Jaganath Puri)
Schedule will be facilitated by resident brahmacharis, deciples of Srila Prabhupada and various Sannyasis.
To commend success in completing the course, students will be awarded Bhakti Shastri / Sabbatical Course certificate.
Please note there are limited places on this course and there is an application form (attached) to be completed and sent back by the End of February 2011.
