VTE Training Seminar for Householders - Strengthening the Bonds That Free Us by Rasamandala Dasa & Hanuman Dasa

Rasamandala and Hanuman Prabhus are going to give the brand new VTE Training Seminar for Householders called "Strengthening the Bonds That Free Us" at Bhaktivedanta College from 8th - 10th of November, 2004.

This 3-day interactive workshop will help students to understand and apply the principles and skills that build happy, successful Krishna conscious marriages. The course is designed for devotees who are considering marriage, as well as newlyweds, couples who have been married for many years, and ISKCON leaders who counsel families.

Negotiating the roles of husband and wife, communication skills for spouses, child-rearing, balancing the pressures of spiritual and secular life, Krishna conscious sexuality, household finances, and conflict resolution are some of the relevant topics studied in the course.

This VTE course was developed by senior devotees, including certified family therapists and ISKCON educators.  It helps devotees address both the challenges and opportunities that grihasta life offers. The course is founded on understanding the sacredness of the marriage vows, and the potential of the grihasta ashram to enhance our personal well being, spiritual growth and service to Srila Prabhupada, ISKCON, and the greater society.
